A Zambian pupil, jailed in Russia was killed throughout a battle in Ukraine, Zambia’s overseas ministry stated Monday.
The coed was a 23-year-old pupil the Zambian authorities had sponsored to check nuclear engineering on the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute.
The person was recognized as Lemekhani Nathan Nyirenda by Zambia’s Overseas Minister Stanley Kakubo in a statement.
Nyirenda was convicted in 2020 of unspecified crimes in Russia and despatched to jail for 9 years and 6 months. He was serving his sentence on the Tyer Medium Safety Jail on the outskirts of Moscow,” based on the assertion.
